Summer Club

Q: How do I get to The Summer Club?
A: Drive behind Dick’s Sporting Goods and use either of the Summer Club parking lots. Walk up the ramp, check in with our desk staff, and enjoy your day! -
Q: At what age can I leave my child unattended in the park?
A: Children must be 16 years or older to be left alone in the park. -
Q: Can I bring outside food?
A: No outside food is allowed at The Summer Club. Small snack items are acceptable. Outside alcohol is prohibited, as well as any items in glass or cans. -
Q: How often do the waves run?
A: Waves start every 15 minutes. -
Q: Can I bring guests?
A: Yes! Members may bring up to 5 guests per day. Guests must be accompanied by a member. If a guest arrives before the member, they will be asked to wait for the member to arrive. -
Q: Are floatation devices allowed or provided?
A: You may bring floatation devices that are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard. If not, we have plenty available for use. -
Q: Are you open on rainy days?
A: Yes! Rain or shine, we’re here to provide fun for you and your family. We only close in the event of severe weather, as determined and announced by the Club Director and General Manager. We will post any changes to hours as well as other information on our Summer Club Facebook page. -
Q: What are the requirements for the water slide?
A: Guests must be at least 42 inches, children may not wear loose fitted shirts or eyewear of any kind - Q: What are the requirements for the ropes course?
A: 42 inches when accompanied by a parent and 48 inches alone, also footwear that has a back is required. (no flip flops)
My First Camp

Q: What is the camper to counselor ratio?A: The camper to counselor ratio is 5:1 for My First Day Camp. We maintain age-appropriate ratios to ensure camper safety and supervision at all times.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum number of weeks my child can attend?
A: Camp registration is weekly. Campers may register for as many weeks as they like, based on availability. -
Q: What should my child bring to camp each day?
A: Campers should bring a backpack, water bottle, bathing suit (send them in it, makes it easier!), sunscreen, towel, change of clothes (very important for this age group), extra snacks. -
Q: What happens on rainy days?
A: Camp will continue rain or shine! Indoor games and activities are planned for inclement weather. These activities include playing in our matted play area called the Treehouse, Downtown game area, our Big Apple for arts and crafts and more. -
Q: Are there extended day options? If so, where do I drop off/pick them up from?A: Yes, there are both extended AM and PM hours. Extended AM is from 7:30-8:40 am ($25/day). Extended PM is from 4:15-6:00pm ($30/day).Both extended day options are located in the camp room behind the building. Parents must come into the building for extended day drop off/pick up options.

Q: Should campers bring lunch and snacks?
A: Lunch and snack are both included! However, they are more than welcome to bring their own lunch and snack, keeping in mind our nut-free policy. -
Q: Are swim lessons required for campers?Â
A: Swim lessons are a scheduled part of the program for children ages 4–6 and are designed to build water comfort, confidence, and basic swim skills in a safe environment. No child is forced into the water. Instructors work at each child’s pace while encouraging participation in a supportive way! -
Q: Does my child need prior swim experience?
A:Â No prior swim experience is required. Lessons are designed for beginners as well as children who already have some familiarity with the water.
Ultimate Day Camp

Parties & Outings
- Q: Can I bring outside food?
A: No outside food is permitted at The Summer Club, with the exception of cake, and cupcakes for birthday parties. We do have freezer space for an ice cream cake. -
Q: How early can we arrive?
A: You may arrive up to 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. -
Q: What happens if my party gets rained out?
A: Don’t worry! We always schedule a rain date as a backup. -
Q: Are gluten-free or allergy-friendly options available?
A: Yes! Please inform the staff member assigned to your party, and our kitchen will accommodate the necessary food restrictions. -
Q: How long are the parties?
A: Parties are 3 hours long. -
Q: What food options are available? Can we order from the snack bar?
A: Food options include grilled cheese, hot dogs, hamburgers, and cheeseburgers. Chips, water, and lemonade are also included. Yes, you may order additional items separately from the café. -
Q: Do kids need to take a swim test?
A: No. The only requirements are meeting the height requirements for the water slides. -
Q: Can we bring decorations?
A: Yes! You are welcome to bring decorations within reason. -
How will the fee be determined?A: We charge an entry fee per person. We allow two hosts entry without a charge unless they choose to eat. Any other adult or child who enters the park must pay the entry fee.
